Scope and Contents Contains arrangements for the Angelaires, as well as a few orchestral pieces. The arrangements are often not complete, with three out of the five parts, or without a full score. Maurice Peress, Paul Soffray, and Virginia Werner Hatten arranged the majority of the pieces. There are often transitions included which resemble Ruth Wickersham's handwriting. This series contains contracts and photocopies of contracts between the Angelaires and Howard Lanin Management, Columbia Artists Management, bus charter companies and a few states and counties. For seasons 1952-1953 and 1953-1954 there is a contract for every venue on their tours, with a handful from the 1957 tour. Dates range 1949-1958.

These materials includes a ’52-’53 scrapbook with inserts, periodical clippings, photographs, programs and promotional materials, member timeline and solo counts and tour itineraries with a few maps. This series contains Bob D. Litterell's notes with his scores, contracts with Lyon and Healy, and programs of Litterell's performances. It includes handwritten notes, correspondences, newspaper clippings, magazine clippings, photocopied music, photocopied excerpts from books, printed programs and performance flyers. The material covers Litterell's education and professional career, as he performed and studied in Kansas, California and Colorado. Materials dated approximately 1900-2013.

This series contains materials that Gordon Childs collected and compiled on an opera called “In The Pasha’s Garden” by John Laurence Seymour which has a viola d’amore solo during one of the acts. It includes musical scores and correspondence related to Childs' research. Dated 1934-1986.

This subseries includes programs, newspaper articles, biographies, and other reviews written about Muradian by Gordon Childs, members of the Viola d’amore Society of America, one of Muradian’s teachers, and other well-known musicians. The sub-series also includes quartets, concertos, and sonatas written by Muradian. These are in the form of photocopied handwritten manuscripts and printed musical scores. Some contain personal annotations and markings by Childs. Dated 1955-1998.

This series contains miscellaneous materials from Dr. Childs' collection of papers on the viola d'amore. Includes poetry and other materials related to the viola d'amore. Dated approximately 1661-2006 with the bulk of the materials being from approximately 1913-2006.
